To measure and compare the resolution and noise between the GFX100 and GFX-50S, I shot this scene with both cameras, using the same 32-64mm zoom set to 64mm f11, and at all ISO values. I shot in JPEG and RAW but feel Fujifilm’s internal processing does as good a job as any RAW software I’ve tried their files with, so for the purpose of this test I’m presenting results from the out-of-camera JPEGs below, taking 100% crops from the area marked by the red rectangle. The GFX 50S crops in the left column below show a larger area due to its lower 50 Megapixel resolution.
